After graduating from Liverpool University as a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2007, Ash went on to complete his vocational training in North Wales. Having successfully completed the training year he worked in both private and NHS practices whilst also completing the following training part time:

  • 2016 – Enrolled on the UK Implantology course, Cambridge
  • 2015 – Advanced Bone Regeneration Techniques in Implant Therapy under Professor Istavan Urban – Urban Regeneration Institute (Budapest)
  • 2014 – Horizontal and Vertical Bone Augmentation – Geistlich, London
  • 2014 – Sinus lift course – Dentale, Shrewsbury
  • 2014 – Advanced techniques for bone and soft tissue regeneration – Geistlich, London
  • 2013 – Update on Conscious Dental Sedation – Yorkshire Sedation Training
  • 2013 – Six Month Smiles Accredited Practitioner (specialised clear braces to gently straighten and align teeth in an average time of just six months)
  • 2011 -2012 – Advanced Implant Training – Dentale, Shrewsbury
  • 2011 – Dr Bob Khanna Training Institute in Advanced Facial Aesthetics – completed training in both Botulinum Toxin and dermal filler with one of the leading cosmetic dentists in the UK.  Subsequent refresher courses have also been completed
  • 2011 – Dawson Academy UK training – this involved training from some of the leading clinicians in the UK, Europe and America. The course focused on complete dentistry and providing understanding of complex jaw dysfunctions which many patients suffer from.
  • 2010 –  Invisalign Accredited Practitioner (clear braces as a cosmetic alternative to traditional “train track” braces)
  • 2009-11 – Completed a postgraduate diploma in Advanced Restorative Cosmetic Dentistry (University of Central Lancashire). This involved completing advanced cases in smile design, root canal treatment, periodontal surgery.

  • 2008-09 – Clinical Assistant Post at Wrexham Maelor Hospital performing many surgical wisdom tooth extractions in theatre under general anaesthesia

Ash’s mains area’s of interest are oral surgery, implant surgery, restorative cosmetic dentistry and treating anxious and dental phobic patients with dental sedation.

Ash is a family man and adores spending time with his baby daughter.  In his spare time he enjoys keeping fit, travelling and supporting Liverpool FC.

Dr Pritpal Matharu – Dentist – BDS – MJDF (Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties of The Royal College of Surgeons of England) – GDC number 113451

Dr Matharu graduated from Liverpool University as a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2007 before going on to complete his vocational training. Pritpal successfully completed his training year and has worked in both private and NHS practices.

My name is Andrea, l’m a qualified Dental Hygiene and Therapist. I gained my diploma in Sheffield in 2011. I enjoy all aspects of my job, its satisfying providing treatments to give people a healthy and happy smile.

I have a wonderful husband and three beautiful children, to which l spend my spare time with and we enjoy family holidays abroad.

I enjoy travelling, keeping fit and spending time with my son.  You will see me mainly on reception but I  like to keep my hand in working in the surgery occasionally.  My main areas of interest are sedation and smile designs, there’s nothing more rewarding than giving someone a smile to be proud of. I am always happy to help in answering any questions you may have regarding your dental care.

Allison works across both of our practices. Allison is based at Wycherleys Dental Practice (Newport) but you will see her from time to time in Eccleshall!

I thoroughly enjoy my role as senior dental nurse supporting younger members of the team helping them gain experience and confidence. My particular interests lie in oral surgery and Implants, you will find me working in surgery as well as on reception. I am married and have two wonderful children, who keep me busy. we love spending time together on family holidays and days out.

I enjoy my job as a dental nurse and my main area of interest is cosmetic dentistry and hygiene. You will see me mainly on the reception or in the surgery. In my spare time I like eating out and spending time with my family, friends and boyfriend. I also enjoy travelling abroad, going shopping and swimming.

I have recently qualified as a dental nurse, after a change in career. Previously I worked as a teaching assistant in a Primary School. I enjoy socialising with friends and family and walking my cockapoo puppies, Bobby and Damson. I look forward to furthering my career in dentistry.

I have recently moved to the practice and am enjoying work. My main area of interest is hygiene. In my spare time I enjoy fashion, spending time with my boyfriend and taking day trips away.
